Modern biophysics continues to explore how the body responds to frequency, vibration, electrical signaling, and coherent states. While many historical theories around the biofield remain speculative, emerging research in nervous-system regulation, fascia, acoustics, and bioelectric communication suggests the body may be far more responsive to sound and environment than we once believed.
Before there was Waves in Motion, there was survival.
For years, Jacquelynn has lived inside a nervous system that can shift without warning — waves of pain, neurological overload, muscle tension, sensory sensitivity, exhaustion, and the unpredictable reality of a body that could appear functional one moment and completely overwhelmed the next. Living with a rare calcium channel dysfunction has forced her into an intimate relationship with the human nervous system long before she ever stepped into the role of practitioner.
She learned firsthand that healing is not always linear. That pacing matters. That environment matters. That sound matters. That the body can look “fine” externally while internally operating at maximum capacity.
While many people experience stress as tension, Jacquelynn experienced what it felt like for the body to overfire — to exceed threshold and cascade.
That experience changed the direction of her life. She has now become one of the most recognized frequency-based wellness practitioners in the Greater Sacramento region.
With a background rooted in true curiosity, fascination, and wonder she approached wellness differently than many traditional practitioners. She became deeply immersed in studying epigenetics, cellular communication, autonomic regulation, energetic coherence, frequency, and the emerging science surrounding the biofield and nervous system function. Rather than viewing the body as isolated systems, she became fascinated by how information travels through the human organism — chemically, electrically, emotionally, and energetically.
It is from her own research and lived experience, that she explored the intersection between biology, coherence, environment, stress physiology, and the subtle energetic dynamics that influence human performance and well-being.
But the science alone was never enough.
What transformed Jacquelynn most profoundly were the moments where sound, frequency, stillness, and nervous-system safety created measurable shifts in her own body. She began studying meditation, Reiki, Biofield Tuning, sound therapy, chromotherapy, and vibrational practices not as abstract spiritual concepts, but as tools for regulation, restoration, and reconnection.
Over time, she noticed something powerful: when the nervous system feels safe, the body often remembers how to heal.
That realization became the foundation of Waves in Motion.

My meditation approach is rooted in non-dual awareness—it's less about watching your thoughts or controlling your breath, and more about resting in the stillness underneath it all. Instead of focusing on doing, it's about simply being—dropping into presence and reconnecting with the self beyond thought. It goes deeper than mindfulness by inviting a spacious, spiritual awareness that gently dissolves stress and opens up inner clarity.
The style is based in Advaita Vedanta, which is a non-dual yogic philosophy. It focuses on quieting the mind, being fully present, and connecting with your deeper self through breath and awareness. It's more than relaxation—it's about inner clarity and spiritual stillness.
It depends on your insurance. We do not file with insurance, but we will provide you with all of the paperwork that you need to pass onto your insurance. However, some Healthcare Spending Accounts will cover the costs of these appointments.
Absolutely Not! First timers are always encouraged and welcome. It is my goal to make people aware of the benefits of vibrational work and sound therapy.
I do suggest staying hydrated, by drinking lots of water, prior to your visit. Being that we moving your energy fields, staying well hydrated helps with circulation.
I can and, in most cases will, send out the registration paperwork prior to our appointment time to alleviate the time it takes to compete them forms.
Please arrive for your appointment dressed comfortable clothing. Comfort is key. You will be laying down for your session. So anything you feel comfortable laying down in. You will remain fully dressed during your session. Wear footwear that is easily removable. You may keep socks on if you choose to do so. I do offer light blankets to utilize during any session to accommodate any fluctuations in body temperature.
I encourage clients to bring anything that may make their session more comfortable. Think active relaxation. Bring an open mind and an intention that you want to focus on during our session. You are encouraged to bring any crystals or stones that you may want to incorporate into you r personalized experience. I do have yoga mats, blankets, pillows, bolters and shawls all available to use during your session.
During a sound bath we will begin with a seated guided breathwork exercise with your eyes closed and preparing your body and nervous system for the sound bath. We will then set an intention state our desired outcome and wishes for this sound bath this is most often done through a short guided meditation. I will then conduct a smudging to clear any residual energies that may be lingering.
At this point with your body, in a deepened state of relaxation, I will begin introducing various forms of sound in the form of Brass Singing Bowls, Quartz Crystal Bowls, Chimes, Gongs, Tuning Forks, Ocean Drums and a variety of other vibro-acoustical tools in order to further relax you into a meditative state. All in an effort to provide you with a way to quiet your mind through sound.
A sound bath is an experience of sound through a variety of instruments that are often played together to create a state of relaxation aimed to calm the mind and body. By focusing on different frequencies and tones while simultaneously being mindful of your breath and staying present, you can be guided into an extremely relaxed state.
